The Roman Invasion of Britain and Boudicca’s Revolt workshop offers an engaging exploration of ancient history, focusing on how the Romans established control over Britain and the powerful uprising led by Queen Boudicca. Participants can learn about Roman military tactics, daily life in Roman Britain, and the significance of Boudicca’s rebellion in resisting Roman rule. Interactive activities include role-playing to deepen understanding of this pivotal period in British history.

With a detailed examination of a legionary's kit, including the opportunity for your students to try on a lorica segmentata and helmet, and feel the weight of a scutum and gladius. 

We finish our workshop looking at how the Roman Empire fell and what they bid for us.
