D-Day Workshop, Gatten and Lake Primary school
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, Year 5 took part in a workshop where they got to learn
about the D-Day landings and remember those who fought for their countries. The children were all very
engaged and learnt so much about the landings and how the day unfolded.

Battle of Agincourt, Priory School Whippingham.
This was an enthusiastic and fun talk. Mr Nash brought History alive for all the students to mark the 600th anniversary of the battle of Agincourt. Mr who was wearing replica clothing from 1415, brought along swords and bows and arrows to give the children a hands on history lesson.
